Törg is a world that is being mined by the League of Votann's Greater Thurian League.[1]

Overview
It is an outlying world in the League's territory and years of deep-core tectonic mining has left Törg riven. It is now a hostile mass of jagged stone, exposed magma veins, convulsing super-volcanoes and toxic fumes, which the Greater Thurian League's Kin Harvester Fortresses transverse as they mine Törg's mineral wealth.[1]
History
In M42, Törg was invaded by several Chaos Space Marine warships belonging to the World Eaters and The Purge. Their deployed forces overran the Greater Thurian League's void docks orbiting Törg, before then invading the world itself. The League's Guild Miners were now trapped in their Harvester Fortresses and a plea for aid was sent, as the Chaos Space Marines attacked. Their plea was answered by High Kâhl Ûthar, whose Oathband was dispatched to defeat the invaders.[1]
